May Currently!

It is hard to believe that it is already May! Time has really flown by. A lot of wonderful things are going to be happening this month, including my birthday! As always, I am glad to be participating in one of the biggest linking events for teacher bloggers, hosted by Farley! I love connecting with new teachers out there!

Listening
I am extremely excited about the new Great Gatsby movie that will be coming out soon. It is one of my all-time favorite books. One of the trailers has the song "Young and Beautiful" by Lana del Ray. I have fallen in love with this song and have been listening to it on repeat!

Loving
Warm weather has finally come to Ohio! I have been enjoying every moment. All this week I have been reading and running outside.

Thinking
I am running my first 10k this weekend! It is called the Flying Pig and will be held in Cincinnati. I hear it is a really fun race with lots of great energy. It has to be with a name like that, right? I think I am ready, but apparently the course is mostly uphill.

Wanting
I have a job interview next week! I have really enjoyed being a Title 1 intervention teacher, but it is really my dream to be a classroom teacher. Hopefully this is my chance!

Needing
Everything seems to be going so quickly! How is it almost the end of the year already? Where did April go? With testing, this job interview, and end-of-year events, I am afraid to blink!

Summer Bucket List
1. There are so many wonderful books that I want to read, both professional and for personal enjoyment. I cannot wait to lounge around the local pool, read, and relax!
2. I have a really good feeling that this summer is going to be it. I have sent out several resumes, met with principals, and networked more than I ever have in my entire life. I will get a classroom job this year, and it will be fantastic!

I cannot wait to see what is going on in everyone else's lives! Happy May!
